Things to know:

Cross-country ski level is indicated by colours on the maps

The advice from our Tourisme Office:

In case there is little snow, the Risoux forest in Bellefontaine remains the best place to go skiing because of the good conditions you will find.

GPS coordinates :

It’s been a century since the Jura became one of the favorite ski sites thanks to the largest Nordic skiing space in Europe!

In between valleys and peaks, in the middle of a preserved nature, you will be filled with oxygen and sensations. Behind each bump, each pine tree, each curve is a new unforgettable image.
From contemplative to athletic, Nordic skiing offers a wide variety of activities close to the Nature.

There are two kinds of Nordic skiing:

  • The classic style (also called alternative) which consists in following the tracks made by the snow groomer
  • The “skating” style which is made on a flat surface on the side of the “classic” tracks.
