Festival of contemporary classical music.

This not-to-be-missed event offers a remarkable programme of some twenty dates of baroque, romantic and contemporary concerts, etc., with great artistic personalities.

A programme offering original musical moments: concerts in heritage sites, film-concert, conferences, the possibility of attending rehearsals, musical markets, an evening of wine-tasting and a musical walk...

The 25th edition of the festival will take place in two phases: from 13 to 18 July and from 21 to 23 October 2022

Friday 21 October:

- School film-concert: The Conquest of the Pole

- School Renaissance Ball :
Pupils from the primary schools of Saint Pierre and La Chaux du Dombief and the Grandvaux Intercommunal Music School.

Friday 21 & Saturday 22 October :

- Italian Concerti for organ & strings :
Works by A. Vivaldi, G.B. Sammartini, etc.
Dare to (re-)discover an anthology of Italian baroque music with Vivaldi and Sammartini where the organ and strings dialogue with virtuosity, sensitivity and singularity.

- Renaissance Ball :
During the Renaissance, considered as a form of education, dance was no longer the prerogative of professionals but was invited into the courts. Once the professionals' show was over, the public took part in the various dances: the branle, the pavane, etc... For one evening, relive this spirit and come and dance. The dancing master, Hubert Hazebroucq, will explain the choreography and steps at the beginning of each dance.

- French Army Choir: Closing concert.
The French Army Choir was created in 1982 at the request of Charles Hernu, then Minister of Defence. A special formation of the Republican Guard, it is the official choir of the Republic and represents, by its original and unique character, one of the jewels of culture in the armies.
